Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your My AI Vault account and associated app data, and what is removed or kept.
Request Full Account Deletion
My AI Vault uses Google Sign-In. To delete your app account and all metadata we hold for you:
- Send an email to hello@consultingcadets.com with the subject line "Account deletion request".
- Include the Google email address you use to sign in to My AI Vault so we can verify ownership.
- We will process verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email when deletion is complete.
What We Delete
- Your user account and profile information
- All document metadata (titles, categories, expiry dates, tags)
- Vault and family membership records
- Google Drive file reference IDs stored in our database
- Any other data tied to your user ID
What We Do NOT Delete
- Files in Google Drive: Your document files stay in your Google Drive (under the myaivault folder). We do not host these files — you must delete them from Google Drive yourself.
- Google account: We cannot delete your Google account. Manage it at myaccount.google.com.
Delete Individual Documents
You don't need to delete your entire account to remove documents. In the app:
- Open any document → tap Delete → confirm
- This removes the metadata from our database
- The file in Google Drive can be deleted separately
